          With the past and upcoming tryouts for the 2019 drum corps season in motion, I thought this post would be a great one that most of my friends could relate to. Preparing pre tour for drum corps is essential for a better experience with your corps, in my opinion, not everyone thinks so, but I bet you will after this post.                     When I say preparing I mean very specific things, not just raising money or gathering items for tour, or even the infamous packing for tour. What I mean is preparing your body, preparing your skills and most importantly preparing your mind. Introducing My YouTube Channel

          If you do not know by now, I have a YouTube channel. I have had it for a couple of months. I started off with a couple of vlogs as I did not really know what types of videos I wanted to post or film, let alone how inexperienced I was in front of a camera. After filming what I describe as the same vlog over and over again because my days do not change much during the week, as in I go to the same job, do the same things everyday, I felt like no one wanted to see a repeat of me doing what I had just done the day before, so I started being more creative and discovering who I was as a  You Tuber.
          If you know me personally, you know I have a fascination with photography and videography, so naturally creating any type of content, photo or video wise, is very fun and relaxing to me. It is sort of my creative outlet right now since I have no school or color guard to lean on at the moment. It has been so fun and relaxing to sit down plan, film, and edit my videos. I feel like with each video I get more comfortable with the camera and I find different ways to make my videos more interesting.
          As of right now, I am filming alot more makeup style videos (although I have a diverse selection of videos that I have planned for the next two weeks ) and I enjoy filming those at the moment. I use to be in love and crazy about makeup when I was in high school and since I have been in college, then had a job while in college, and now I have two jobs plus dog-sitting/babysitting every so often, it sort of drains me and gives me no energy or reason to "play" with makeup, to a point where I thought I had lost my skill and creativity with it! But with each video I am finding it and its coming back to me and it makes me very happy!
          I intend for my channel to be a lifestyle/beauty outlet for people, men and women, young or old. I intend for it to be entertainment and to bring a smile to peoples faces, sort of like performing a colorguard/winterguard show, but on camera. I also intend to document my ongoing fitness journey once my partner in crime is home from college for the summer so he can film me working out ( thanks Matthew :) ).
          I am also taking suggestions and criticism on making my channel better and well as videos ideas or things you as person would like to see me bring to the table. Suggesting video ideas as a viewer gives me as the channel creator and idea of how I should put what i enjoy filming in a way that is trendy and entertaining.

Being an Introvert

I have come to the realization that being an introvert does not mean you have to stay that way. With that being said, I do not think that you can ever fully become an extrovert if you were born an introvert, and here is why.... This past weekend I experience a couple of first in my life. Being a 20 year old college student, this may surprise you. I have never been to a party, and I also have never been to a bar/club (this one may not be so surprising since I am under 21). I experienced both of said things this past weekend. When I was first talked into going to these two things I was very adamant that I was not going to have a good time and that I would be miserable. I had already made my mind up. There was going to be partying and alcohol and as an introvert both of those things were a no go on my list of things Id love to spend my weekend doing. Becoming More Positive

Becoming More Positive This post is sort of an add on series to my last post "Personal Growth". If you have not read that one, I suggest reading that one first. Becoming more positive about life, especially when it doesn't seem to be in your favor is part of personally growing.
