Preparing for Drum Corps- Colorguard Edition

Image
With the past and upcoming tryouts for the 2019 drum corps season in motion, I thought this post would be a great one that most of my friends could relate to. Preparing pre tour for drum corps is essential for a better experience with your corps, in my opinion, not everyone thinks so, but I bet you will after this post.                     When I say preparing I mean very specific things, not just raising money or gathering items for tour, or even the infamous packing for tour. What I mean is preparing your body, preparing your skills and most importantly preparing your mind. One of the top reasons members leave within the first few weeks of tour, besides injuries, is mental stability. And that is totally okay, never feel like if that has happened to you that it was the wrong decision because you need to take care of your body and ...

VoxBox Review from Influenster!

Hey Guys and Gals,
Today I wanted to make a post/review of something I recently have joined in on doing and wanted to give my thoughts on if it was real or worth it.

Recently I joined the influenster app. if you do not know what that is, I will explain briefly. Basically, what it is, is an online platform in the form of an app where you compile all of your followings from almost any social media app or website you can think of. Your goal is to get a high impact score, because with a high impact score comes the opportunity to review full sized products for influenster. Companies send products as advertisements to influenster and influenster chooses social media users to review those products, good or bad. Now, if you are thinking I do not have many followers, so I couldn't possible get on board, well neither did I / Do i. I think within all of my social medias added together I only have barley over 1000 followers. They key here is to participate in the reviews on the app from things you buy. The more reviews you do, the more questions you ask and the more questions you answer, the more likely Influenster will send you what they call a voxbox. They are just looking for hard working people to actually review and use the products they are sent. A voxbox is basically just a bunch of random products that they have come out with, normally with a theme.
This voxboxes theme was #SpringessentialsVoxbox. All of  the products seem to be in partnerships with target, so I am assuming occasionally youll get some from other stores as well. In my spring voxbox I recieved:

 - Pantene rescue shot for damaged hair
 - Full sized Krusteaz Protein Pancake Mix
 - Full sized bag of Triscut Wheatberry mix
 - Full bar of Shea Moisture Soap
 - Travel Sized of Burts Bees Fluoride toothpaste

I received everything free/complimentary from influenster by reviewing products I already owned and asking and answering peoples questions on the app. I did not even have to pay any shipping what so ever.

My final review on influenster is that I love it. Reviewing things in my spare time or when I am bored takes no time at all and it gets me closer to the next voxbox. Being able to review products and try out new things all for free can't get better than this. In the end, free is always worth it, and when it is free what do you have to lose! I say influenster is pretty legit and its on my favorites list at the moment! So thank you for influenster for providing these materials and products for me to review!

If you would like to see me review each product in detail just go to my YouTube channel and watch my voxbox unboxing video! I test the products and even sharea small recipe!
